The Vox Conference Venue hosts the annual CBI conference in Birmingham (21-22 November).

The UK’s highest-profile business conference regularly welcomes the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition to speak on business and economic issues, alongside an influential group of business leaders.

“We’re pleased to welcome senior politicians and business leaders to Birmingham, an innovative and dynamic city, to discuss key issues relating to business and the economy,” said Ian Taylor, Managing Director, Conventions & Exhibitions, NEC Group. “Our venue has been well-placed to host hundreds influential leaders across the course of the two days to debate a packed conference agenda.”

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Growing Britain’s Economy’. The conference is hearing from Tim Davie, Director General of the BBC, Amanda Pritchard, Chief Executive Officer, NHS England, Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands and Tony Danker, Director General, CBI alongside a host of world class speakers within the business sector.

Tony Danker, CBI Director-General, said: “The last year has seen many ups and downs in the economy and with a tough environment to operate in, firms need to be doing everything they can to go for growth. This year’s conference is packed with insight to help businesses.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be in Birmingham this year at a wonderful venue, the Vox. It’s a city and region that’s buzzing with enterprise and there’s no better place to be holding our main event of the year.”
